• The science database includes 99.74% of the abstracts of scientific documents found in Google Scholar, such as peer-reviewed papers, conference papers, and theses.

• Currently covers 263M works, with 60M Open Access works, and around 2.B citations

Encompasses 100% of US and EU patents (filed and granted). We currently search in the Abstract and Claims of:

• EPO data (all EP patent) – A bulk data collection including machine-readable format of all patent applications and granted patent specifications published by the EPO since it was set up in 1978. - More information here

• Also contains examples from CN, IN, JP, KR, RU patents.

• Not covered: WO patents

Update frequency

• Every two weeks, the science database is refreshed with newly published papers.

• Updates from US and EU patent offices (newly submitted patents) are also integrated every two weeks.
