Using AI to write your report and extract information

You can access the AI-report generation menu called Ask IGOR^AI in various ways. Most noticeably, when editing a page, you will find a shortcut with the title "Ask me anything about the linked sources".

Alternatively, Ask IGOR^AI can also be accessed in the editor when inserting and selecting content:

  • When editing a page, you will find the Ask IGOR^AI button on the top left of the toolbar.

  • When adding a new line, hit / (forward slash) and a menu appears. Ask IGOR^AI will be the first item in the list.

  • When hovering over the content blocks, you will see a + (plus) sign appear on the left side. When clicking it, a menu appears where Ask IGOR^AI is the first item in the list.

  • When selecting text, the same toolbar appears as on the top of the editor, with again Ask IGOR^AI on the left side.

How does it work?

Ask IGOR^AI is constrained to look only in the documents and highlights saved to an entity or study to provide its answers. This means it will not provide an answer if that answer is not findable in the documents and highlights saved.

The AI will take into consideration:

  • Every highlight saved;

  • For saved papers, the full content of the paper when open source or the abstract when closed.

  • For saved patents, the full content of the patents.

  • For saved webpages, the entire content of the page will be considered. Note that some websites may block content indexing.

  • For manually attached documents, the full content of the document. Learn how to attach external documents.
