Set up your Universe

Welcome to your Universe! Here, we will explain how to make you all set.

Step 1: Log in to your Universe by going to universe.findest.com

This will send a “magic” login link to your email for a secure login.

Tip! Do you want to log in using a password? Go to Settings, click “Personal Information,” and create your password.

Step 2: Install the Findest Universe Chrome extension

With the browser plugin, you can easily capture information from any webpage in your browser. You can find the plugin by clicking “Add to Chrome."

The Plugin also works in the Microsoft Edge browser; for that, you might need to click “allow extensions from other stores":

Tip! Pin your Universe plugin in your Chrome or Edge browser

To see the plugin in your browser, pin it to your taskbar. Click the puzzle sign and click:

“pin” in Chrome “eye” in Edge

Step 3: Highlight your first document to the Universe with the Universe extension

Go to a recent article, patent, technology, or innovation you have read and:

Highlight text on the page

Or save an image:

If needed, you can minimize, grab, and drag the plug-in widget up and down on the left side of your screen as shown below.

Step 4: View your document in the Universe

Go to universe.findest.com and click documents in the left menu to see your documents in the list. Click the document title to go to the URL, and click the block to see the document, highlights and the image.

Thats it! You have added your very first document to your Universe! From here, you can start adding more documents and building your universe of technologies.
