The reference sidebar is a one-stop-shop for all the information in your Universe. From the sidebar, you can add the created highlights in your report, insert images, and refer (and link!) to entities and studies.
The reference sidebar shows five tabs with the icons of the different types of information:
Inbox: View all your linked documents and their corresponding highlights and images. Newest documents are displayed at the top.
Highlights: These are the highlights that you specifically linked to an entity. By default, they are linked to a document.
Documents: You can find all the documents along with their corresponding highlights and images in this place.
Entities: This tab shows the list of entities.
Studies: This tab shows a list of studies.
Click on the tabs to view information for each type. You can insert the information from each tab into your report.
In the Entities and Studies tab, you have the option to insert studies and entities clickable link to other entities and studies. This feature makes it easier for readers to explore related pages and also enables you to create a list of child pages that they can navigate to.
Inserted entities and studies automatically create a mention on the referenced page!
When you insert entities and studies into your pages, they will automatically create a "child" link to the page that was inserted. If you want to remove the link, click on the purple link icon, located next to the entity or study in the sidebar. Additionally, you can also remove the link from the tree view.
From the Inbox , Highlights , and Documents page you can view and insert the highlights in your report. When using the + sign, the text inserted will be editable while using the " sign will insert uneditable text. Images are also inserted with the + sign.
