Creating a full technology landscaped based only on functional searching ( Functional searching) requires many search iterations, mastery of the tool, and extensive reading and evaluation.
Technology Search enables users to quickly create a technology landscape for any topic based on a natural language query. The output includes an overview of relevant technologies, accompanied by related papers and explanations for why each paper is referenced.
You can access Technology Search through existing queries or by creating a new query. In the Technology Search menu, users can enter a natural language query to specify the technologies they are seeking. Under the "Criteria Matching" section, users can adjust the strictness of the search results in relation to their query.

Upon executing a natural language query, various groups are generated and displayed in a semi-circular pie chart. These groups are populated with relevant scientific papers. Users can explore the different groups and documents by scrolling through the list or interacting with the pie chart.
Each document includes the name of the technology it discusses and a brief description of the abstract. This description explains how the document relates to the natural language query.
It is possible to connect the documents found to existing entities or studies, or to create new entities based on the groups created and documents found.
To save documents to existing entities/studies: Select the checkbox in front of the title -- and then press the save button - . You can then choose which entities or studies to connect the document to.
To create a new entity: Select the designated icon -. This can be done for both the groups created and for technologies under specific documents.
