Searching the Universe

Last updated 7 months ago

Search option 1: Search the Universe from the top search bar

The top search bar allows for the most comprehensive search of the Universe, including studies, entities, and documents. The search is conducted on title, page content, and abstracts.

Search option 2: Search from the Relations Graph

For a title search, you can use the Relations Graph. This is a great way to explore connections and see what pages already exist in your Universe.

Search option 3: Search from Google

When you have the Universe Chrome or Edge extension installed, a Google search will simultaneously do a Universe search. The top two Universe search results will be shown on your Google results page!

This will drive collaboration and exploration, as you will also unconsciously become aware of pages in the Universe that your colleagues have made!

Search option 4: From the reference sidebar

Tip! Make sure you search through the whole universe by enabling the “Show whole Universe” filter option.

Search the document, entities, and studies directly from the reference sidebar. Use the tabs to select if you want to search Documents , Entities or Studies .
